theta and service

Theta loves service and we are known as the service sorority on campus! All of our members complete 18 hours per semester. The Inter-Greek Council requires all Greek members to complete 12 hours of service. However, Theta values service so highly that members complete an additional 6 "Theta hours" of service. Between opportunities both on and off campus, Theta has turned this "requirement" into an opportunity to come together as a group and make a difference in the community. Read what some of our current and past members have to say about service means to them!

Theta's commitment to service highlights our most defining qualities as a group and as individuals. We are a group of compassionate leaders who are committed to effecting change in our community. This is reflected in the additional service hours we require of ourselves, beyond the IGC minimum, and in the diverse array of service activities in which we participate. From caroling at local retirement communities to participating in Rake a Difference each year to countless other activities, Thetas make a difference.

Service is a great opportunity to become more involved on campus and within the community. It is also time I get to spend with my sisters doing something we love.
